The Watermark Group was created for a single purpose: to help private enterprises succeed.

We started out as CPA’s in a large firm but wanted to be closer to our clients and make a bigger impact. So we started our own firm and brought accountants, and wealth experts together under one roof with one focus: help you make the most of everything you’ve got.

Our Process

You want the great advice, guidance, and services that BIG firms offer, but you also want someone to actually know who YOU are – and what your business is about.

Our team has the experience of the bigger firms, but we also take the time to understand where you are now and where you want to be. Because of this, our approach is a little different.

It's what we call the Legacy Process.

Discovery


Every one of our clients is unique. So the Discovery phase is used to learn more about you:

  • Who are you?
  • What is your vision?
  • What do you value?
  • What goals and dreams do you have (personal, family, business)?

We don't leave Discovery until we truly achieve clarity for you (and us).

Creative Solutions

This phase is about making decisions. Based on the clarity from Discovery, we work with you to move into wise and informed choices for you, your family, and your business relative to planning gaps and opportunities that have been identified.

Strategy Deployment

Now it is time to implement those solutions. We find that once the foundation has been laid by thorough Discovery and Creative Solutions phases, clients oftentimes find Strategy Deployment produces the results they were looking for all along.

Results Management

As with any good plan, the strategies must be periodically evaluated. So, once desired results are achieved, we are here to help manage and maintain those results to ensure your plan continues to stay on target.

Why?

We chose the Legacy Process because it works! Many advisors want to jump head-first into the solutions, rarely understanding what really drives their clients. As a result, those clients find themselves trapped in a state of continual planning because they have a difficult time connecting the recommended strategy to a business or personal goal.
