How I knew Watermark was the place for me

My dad is a CPA, so growing up, I saw how committed he was to his company and to serving others in his community. I knew Watermark was the place for me because I wanted to work with a committed, service-oriented group of people. I was intrigued by the staff’s willingness to help each client achieve their life goals. Not only was I intrigued by their willingness to serve clients, but by their willingness to serve those in our community and even around the world.

Favorite aspect of what I do

I enjoy completing daily and monthly bookkeeping tasks for our clients.  I’m able to learn something new each month and become more confident in my QuickBooks and financial review abilities.

What inspires me, or what am I passionate about

I am very passionate about and have a love for various things, such as:

• Science finding a cure for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease
• Prayers being answered
• The first time seeing your baby on the screen and hearing it’s heartbeat for the first time
• Achieving a lifelong bucket list goal
• Giving birth (especially to a rainbow baby)

When I’m not at work I’m probably…

• Re-reading the Harry Potter series for the umpteenth time or re-watching The Office for the umpteenth time.
• Reminiscing on family trips to Charlevoix, St. Louis, and Ireland
• Cuddling with my baby (Louie) or taking my step-son (Aiden) to the Children’s Museum
• Watching trash t.v. with my husband (Alejandro)
• Cooking/baking with my brother (James)
• Wishing I was fishing on Opal Lake in Gaylord, MI
